My name is Dennie Jacques and I have been a Skate Technician for sixteen plus
years; specializing in the figure skate discipline. Not only do I sharpen, but
I am also well known for my fitting and diagnostics of boot, blade and other
related problems common to figure skaters. My techniques for fitting and
trouble shooting have been developed by me in conjunction with Doctors,
Orthotists, an Engineer involved with boot and blade analysis for the U.S.
Olympic Committee, as well as Equipment Manufacturer's research and development
departments. I have worked with skaters and coaches at all levels from beginner
to National, World and Olympic. These include United States,
Canada, Russia, China, and Australia.
I was the official skate
technician to the 2000 Synchronized National Championships, and the 2002 North
American International Synchronized Challenge.
